Dedication of New Stained Glass Windows at Zion, Sault Ste. Marie

Zion Lutheran, Sault Ste. Marie ON had a special day of celebration on Thanksgiving Sunday, October 9, 2011, when new stained glass windows were dedicated to the glory of God and in loving memory of the late Elizabeth and Heinz Maass to beautify the sanctuary. The windows are located above the baptismal font at the main entrance and they portray the four passages of life, where the church has an important role on our life journey: baptism, confirmation, marriage and the final phase, when we are sent to live new life in Christ. The windows were designed and handcrafted by Maxine LaLonde, a member of Zion.
