Lutherans and Anglicans in Sault Ste. Marie celebrated the 10th Anniversary

Lutherans and Anglicans in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the full communion agreement in a joint outdoor Worship Service on June 26, 2011 at Roberta Bondar Pavilion with about 400 attending.

The Rev. Patrick McManus from St. Matthew's Anglican was the preacher and the liturgy was led by the Rev. Mal Binks from St. John's Anglican and the Rev. Jouko Jyrkama from Zion Lutheran. During the service a large combined choir, directed by Tascha Felice from St. Matthew's and accompanied by Nancy Huizing from Zion sang "United in Christ" by Don Besig as the Anthem.
