St Matthew's, East Zorra - Celebrating Ordination

Celebrating Ordination was the focus theme for the July 8^th, 2012 Service of Worship at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church East Zorra, Tavistock, when Interim Pastor Everett Mossman was honoured on the occasion of his 45^th Anniversary of Ordination and newly ordained parish member, Pastor Timothy Dawkins, was also presented with a gift from the congregation.  Pastor Dawkins was ordained July 6^th, 2012, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Waterloo, and with his family is a member of the St. Matthew’s parish.

Guests at the service included family and friends from several congregations and the women of the church provided a delicious light lunch following the service.  Greetings and gift of appreciation to Pastor Mossman, affectionately known as Rev Ev, were expressed by the Church Council chairperson, Jack Wettlaufer, and also by retired Mennonite Pastor Gordon Bauman.
