Bishop’s Table

The Bishop’s Table is an intentional extension and deepened inclusion of the Bishop’s Company. As we learn from our new hymn, it is better to build a longer table than a higher fence. With a full heart, I invite you and other cherished friends to come to the table on November 8th from 11am-2pm for nourishment, to be in each other’s company, for inspiration, and to receive a special gift and token of appreciation and connection.

September 30 is the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. The Eastern Synod staff were pleased to participate in a "Remember Me Walk" hosted by The Healing of the Seven Generations. The event honored all children as we came together as a community to spread awareness and reflect on the tragedy of residential schools experienced by Indigenous people across Turtle Island.
