Witness Sub-Committee Mission Statement

The mission of the Eastern Synod Witness Sub-Committee is to encourage and strengthen congregations and individuals in their sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This includes:

  • Raising awareness of the vast scope of witness opportunities.
  • Educating and training.
  • Providing resources.
  • Helping congregations in the process of evaluating, planning, implementing and re-evaluating their witness ministries.
  • Working with partners in the Synod, the National Church, and ecumenically to accomplish common goals.
